Historique
At Jaguar, the XJ saloon has always topped the range and has become a real institution. Since its launch in 1968, the XJ has haunted the roads and minds, and it drapes itself in its timeless elegance to snub the modernism of its rivals. In 2003, Jaguar significantly evolved this saloon by giving it an aluminium structure, allowing this imposing limousine to weigh only 1,665kg on the scale. The range was then offered with 4 engines: V6 3.0, V8 3.5, V8 4.2 and V8 4.2 Supercharged.
This 406hp supercharged version is available in two trim levels: the XJR with a sporty presentation and the Super V8 with a more refined presentation. We are here in "a real Jaguar" in the noblest sense of the term. Embellished with a few options, it is a chic and elegant saloon (with a fiery temperament) in which nothing is missing: profusion of leather and wood, electric rear bench seat with position memory, electric sunroof, adaptive cruise control, heated wooden steering wheel...
